Locating a cable fault on an underground cable can be a time consuming exercise. In this course you will learn what equipment and techniques will assist you to find a cable fault quicker and more accurately to minimize down time or production loss.
The objective of this course is to develop the knowledge, skills and techniques associated with cable fault location and how to carry out these techniques in a safe, quick and accurate manor. The course will cover both the theoretical and practical aspects of cable fault location.
We make use of an underground cable with simulated faults on it to demonstrate and teach how to find the different types of faults using various methods and test equipment.

Day 2: Practical Cable Fault Location “Hands On”
Day 3: Electrical Equipment Testing and Assessments
